We visited this restaurant with pleasure. Delicious food. Very pleasant atmosphere. The owners of the restaurant are very, very friendly and hospitable. The restaurant felt warmth, pleasant smells from the kitchen. Georgian wines. To suit the taste of each visitor. Everything was home-made.

Food:5 service:3 atmosphere:5 The setting is very unique and attractive. Really appreciate the nice atmosphere in the dining area. The food was good overall. The beef stew was the best, rich, fresh, and tasty. Kebab was good as well, but the meat smelled a bit. Lentil was a bit disappointing. There was too much spices put in which kinda overwhelmed the taste of the soup bringing a complex flavor. Service needs a bit improvement. We were served a bottle of water but no glasses on the table until I asked for it and the house was pretty empty around that time. Red wine recommended was a bit disappointing as well.

We had a fabulous dinner here last night by suggestion of my brother and what a treat it was! The place is adorable with cutest decor items all over and makes you feel very welcomed and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious... like it is made by your talented grandma at home! The service is a bit slow but we didn't mind since we were having a good time. They had a separate vegan menu , and some of the main menu items had vegetarian options. A good-sized drink menu was also available. We ordered different items, and all tasted absolutely amazing! For dessert, we had Kuneffe and Turkish coffee, which were the icing on the cake! If you try this place, you certainly will meet Esther or Mahmud - two of the owners - at some point, as they go around for occasional chat with the customers... both quite sweet and approachable individuals. Overall, we had a great experience and a lovely cozy dinner here and would certainly recommend it to all.

We had an incredible experience at Old Avenue Restaurant! The warm, culturally rich ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable meal. We ordered borscht, khachapuri, and Georgian khinkali, each dish was freshly made, perfectly cooked, and bursting with authentic flavor. The borsch was rich and comforting, the khachapuri delightfully cheesy with a crisp crust, and the khinkali juicy and flavorful. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the soothing Azeri music added to the charm. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Qafqazi cuisine, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Order: Lentil soup, Uzbek plov lamb and beef stew in clay pot. Favourite: All were great, but the favourite was the Uzbek plov lamb. Critiques: No critiques, the experience was overall fantastic. Bonus: They give you home made bread with a delicious red sauce before your meal. Take Away: This is the place to make memories with family and friends while enjoying delicious food. We finally managed to get a reservation on a weekday evening, and it was absolutely worth the wait! The experience did not disappoint. The complimentary bread was soft, fresh, and delicious. The Shah Plov was also fantastic—the outside was crisp and the rice inside was flavourful. The beef stew was tender and paired perfectly with the rice. The restaurant’s decoration is also very unique and adds to the overall atmosphere. If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance!

Lovely restaurant with authentic and delicious flavours! It's a great place for a date or family night. The decor and music set the scene and a warm atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the meat platter and pide and were so impressed with everything. The tea is also delicious. The prices are reasonable. The service is friendly and attentive. There's some street parking and reservations are definitely recommended. We can't wait to come back!

An absolute gem of flavor and warmth! My family celebrated my birthday this Saturday at Old Avenue Restaurant, and I can honestly say—it was one of the most delicious dining experiences I’ve ever had. We ordered the Meat Platter and the Shah Plov—both were absolutely flawless! The meat was grilled to perfection, the vegetables were beautifully roasted, and the plov... wow! It was served inside a beautifully baked pastry shell, and the taste was out of this world. I also want to highlight the exceptional service. Both waiters were incredibly professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They gave great recommendations, explained everything clearly, and made us feel truly welcome. I recommend this place to all my friends and everyone reading this. Old Avenue is a must-visit!
